I currently work as a Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster for Liberty Mutual Insurance. This position has allowed me to use my investigative skills, build relationships with policyholders, ensure injured workers receive their lost wages and medical treatment in a timely manner, provide return to work services, communicate with plaintiff and defense legal teams frequently, and resolve claims efficiently.
Editor-In-Chief | The VanCougar
I previously led a team of 10 plus people to run The VanCougar Newsmagazine. I tracked distribution for the organization's monthly print magazine, and maintained weekly online newsletters that reached the WSU Vancouver community and beyond. I was also responsible for editing, assisting with design layout, and overseeing the publication process from beginning to end. I wrote additional stories on top of my existing duties, trained reporters, editors, and the rest of The VanCougar staff, as well as utilized crucial decision-making skills to oversee the magazine's success, including the organization of a $91k budget.
